Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary

To mark the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop and celebrate Timberland’s deep-rooted connection to the culture through its iconic yellow boot, we teamed up with rising artist Lola Brooke. In a powerful tribute, Lola performed an original spoken-word piece - a love letter to Hip Hop and the boot it helped elevate to icon status. The piece honors the culture without claiming ownership of it, while also spotlighting a new product - the Hip Hop Royalty Boot with design cues inspired by the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop.

We also launched TimbsTok, a content series with New York influencer Cleotrapa, tapping into her voice and style to build a deeper connection with Gen Z. The series put a spotlight on the culture that made the boot a legend, keeping Timberland in the conversation and on the feet of a new generation.
